Easy Plug-and-Go Installation
Installation couldn't be easier! No tools or automotive expertise required to install CarChip Pro!
1. Locate your car's OBD-II(On-board diagnostics) connector port. Easily found under the dashboard or steering wheel inside your car or truck.(No more then 3 feet from driver seat.)
2. Plug CarChip Pro into the OBD-II Port.(The blinking light tells you it is installed and ready to go.)
3. Start Driving.
CarChip Pro will start collecting data from your very next trip. Later down load the data to your PC for analysis, graphing and charting.

CarChip has been carefully designed and tested to comply with OBDII protocols J1850-41.6, J1850-10.4, ISO9141, KWP2000 (ISO14320), and CAN (ISO 11898), which are used on most cars and light trucks sold in the USA, model year 1996 or later. However, some vehicle models are not in full compliance with these protocols. In addition, the computer control systems on a given vehicle may be malfunctioning or out of spec, as may be the sensors used by these systems.
